The Forged Narrow Superlite 6R (FNSL6R) is our newest version for the venerable Superlite caliper series adds the versatility and convenience of radial mounting to this widely popular caliper group. Radial mounting simplifies adaptation and provides two planes of adjustment for accurate alignment over the disc. These calipers integrate “Big Brake” style with Wilwood’s latest technology to generate big stopping power in extreme environments over a broad range of vehicle applications.
Forged Narrow Superlite 4R four piston calipers are combined with BP-10 compound pads and 12.88″ rotors in this group of big brake kits for custom high performance street and show machines. This group of specialized kits for Import Cars retain full use of the OE parking brake, master cylinder output, and ABS where used. FNSL4R rear kits provide complimentary style and performance with 13″ and larger front brake upgrades in conjunction with wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades. Optional caliper finishes and rotor designs enable the builder to match style and performance on all applications.
This Tru-bar unit is ideal for Dirt Modifieds, Champ Cars, Sprint Cars, Midgets, or any application where the master cylinders must be mounted in a remote location from the pedal. To accommodate fitment in tight space locations, the master cylinders are mounted at 60 degrees from the pedal base for use with remote fill fluid reservoirs. This unit features a high leverage, machined billet pivot arm that multiplies input force at a ratio of 1.48:1 and when mounted within the driver’s reach, the included adjustment knob can be used for quick and easy on-track bias adjustments. Tru-Bar pedals utilize a fixed trunnion bearing in the pedal arm, with spherical rod-end bearing pushrod attachments. They provide ultimate precision, control, and adjustment of the brake bias on race prepped vehicles. A stronger and larger diameter 7/16-20 bar provides quicker adjustment and features a shouldered 3/8” diameter end to attach the standard remote adjuster cable to deliver professional, championship caliber performance. Wilwood’s Tru-Bar balance bar utilizes a fixed trunnion bearing in the pedal arm with spherical rod ends at the pushrod connections. It provides the ultimate in precision bias adjustment, control, and fine tuning on race prepped vehicles equipped with twin brake Master cylinder systems and proportionately sized calipers.
GT-48 curved vane rotors are built for the extreme conditions of professional motorsports. The superior heat absorption and dissipation characteristics of these heavy wall directional vane rotors are the keys to preventing heat fade and realizing long service life from the rotors and pads. All rotors are cast from premium grade, long grain carbon iron for long wear, thermal stability, and resistance to distortion. Every GT rotor is fully detail machined to eliminate stress points and unnecessary weight away from the pad sweep face. The faces and O.D. are precision turned to less than .001″ for flatness, parallelism, and run-out. An asymmetrical face slot pattern provides smoother engagement through reduced harmonics and improved thermal balance between the I.D. and O.D. of the rotor. Every rotor is then individually dynamic balanced to provide vibration free performance at any speed. These rotors provide the highest cooling capacity and longest service life for extreme braking short tracks and road course competition.
Aerolite 6R six piston radial mount front caliper kits add big brake stopping power and style to any 1997-2013 C5 or C6 Corvette front suspension. These kits replace the OE calipers on all models and mount in the stock caliper location. All the necessary hardware is included for correct mounting height and offset with the very affordable one-piece 13.38″ Z51 or 13.97″ Z06 OE style rotors. Aerolite 6R calipers incorporate race proven technology in a high strength forged triple bridge body design. They provide positive and confident pedal response that is matched to the OE master cylinder output and fully compatible with the ABS system. BP-20 dual-sport compound Smart Pads provide clean and quiet driving on the street, with improved friction and high temperature fade resistance for auto-cross and other sport driving applications.
This Aero6 kit is fortified for competition with the wider 20mm thick pad, black anodized version of the Aerolite 6R radial mount caliper that is equipped with stainless steel pistons and internal damping springs. 14.00″ diameter two-piece rotor assemblies featuring Spec37 alloy SV-GT directional vane competition rotors mount to the OE hubs with weight saving aluminum hats. BP-40 compound SmartPads provide fast response and high friction throughout their entire temperature range. These fully bolt-on kits include mounting brackets, hardware, and a detailed installation guide.
The Superlite caliper series is the benchmark in short track, late model, modified and open wheel competition. It also enjoys prominence in a variety of road-race, off-road, rally and sport driving applications. The new FSLI model series is the latest innovation to this Superlite family of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes, along with any potential problems that could arise from a damaged tube. The transfer tube has been replaced with two additional bleed screw assemblies which allows this group of symmetrical piston bore models to be mounted either right or left in a leading or trailing position.
The new generation of adjustable proportioning valves combines the latest refinements to deliver precise pressure metering and strength from a compact forged billet design. Pressure adjustments range from 100-1000 PSI and provide for a maximum decrease of 57% in line pressure, the most of any available valve. Adjuster knob with fine thread tuning provides precise pressure adjustment. This adjustment lets you fine tune the front to rear braking balance by proportionally decreasing the rear brake line pressure. Valves weigh only 5.2 ounces and have two .25″ side mounting holes spaced 1.00″ apart. This valve varies from our standard Knob Style Proportioning valve, as the in and out ports are 3/8-24 inverted flare seats and do not require tube nut adapters to directly install 3/8 tubing with inverted flare 3/8-24 nuts.
Wilwood’s Front Radial Mount Bracket kits mounts radial mount calipers with 5.98” center to center radial mount used in various Wilwood calipers. Mounts are application (vehicle) specific and contain hardware. Engineered from high strength aluminum alloy.

Wilwood’s Pad Shim Kits feature a steel and elastomeric construction that dampens vibration transmitted between the rotor and pad. This is an industry standard to reduce NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) response in vehicle platforms. Shim kits include 4 shims, enough for two calipers.
Wilwood’s new GS Compact Remote Master Cylinders are an all new rebuildable design featuring a high pressure die cast aluminum body with a protective e-coat finish. Remote cylinders feature a standard 7/16-20 threaded inlet. Internally, a refined return spring and piston assembly assures positive pressure control along with a quick and complete release.
Wilwood’s Tactical Extreme TX6R Big Brake rear kits are ultimate in braking performance for Truck, SUV and Armored Vehicles. Using TX6R radial mount six-piston calipers and massive 15.00″ to 16.00″ GT-60 directional vane Spec-37 alloy rotors, these kits deliver consistent stopping power and extreme duty durability under sustained high heat with this ready to bolt-on kit. The calipers are volume matched for compatibility with original equipment power brake system output. TX6R rear kits replace the factory disc brakes and use the OE parking brake assembly as a compliment to front big brake upgrades.
