Wilwood’s GT 72 Curved Vane Spec-37 rotors are manufactured from a proprietary iron alloy developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking, and wear. The formulation for this alloy is a derivative of technology and materials that were significant in the development of the extreme duty military spec rotors that are manufactured by Wilwood. Every Spec 37 rotor is precision machined to less than .001″ run-out, flatness, and parallelism. Combined with our proven GT Series asymmetrical face slot pattern and individual dynamic balancing, you are assured the smoothest braking available.
Wilwood’s new limited offset FDL Pro-Series Front Hub Kits for GM 1967-1969 F-Body and 1964-1974 A-Body vehicles offer disc brake upgrade solutions for both OEM Disc & Drum spindles. We have completely redesigned our Pro Series line of brake kits using a larger 11″ rotor and new forged aluminum hubs with the express purpose of maintaining the factory wheel position. This new kit widens the track by only +.19″ from original drum brake position or narrows by -.31″ from the original disc brake rotor assembly. Based on the venerable forged billet Dynalite caliper, these versatile kits are easily optioned to suit the braking requirements and style preferences for a daily driver, serious competition, or the most discriminating show enthusiast. Most vehicle applications require no modifications for installation, and provide plenty of clearance inside popular 15″ wheels. FDL Pro-Series kits can be used with either manual or power boost master cylinders. Kits come complete with calipers, rotors, hub assembly, brackets and hardware. Installation requires purchase of additional brake lines shown below.
SRP Drilled Performance Rotors feature a specially engineered directional cross drill and face slot pattern that improve brake response and pad performance throughout the entire range of light to heavy braking. The venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots will reduce pad glaze and disperse gasses and heat generated during the pad to rotor interface. The holes and slots also inhibit irregular pad compound build-up on the rotor faces resulting in smoother engagement and improved pedal response in all conditions. The material removed also contributes to lower rotating and unsprung suspension weight.
This group of FDL Pro-Series rear disc kits provides a complete solution for popular muscle car rear axles that require a parking brake. Forged billet Dynalite four piston calipers, 12.19″ one-piece drum/rotors, and high friction pads provide optimized and balanced braking for all types of custom performance street/strip and show machines. The neatly hidden internal shoe system provides a clean installation with superior static holding power for parking. Optional caliper finishes and rotor designs enable the builder to personalize the style and optimize brake performance for every individual application.
SLC56 front caliper, pad, and rotor kits are engineered as high performance street and custom show replacements for Corvettes and hot rods using Corvette suspension. These kits combine the high-tech styling and superior performance of the SLC56 calipers, 12.8″ diameter SRP series drilled and slotted e-coat rotors, and the positive response, long wear, high fade resistance, and easy clean properties of the BP-10 compound Smart Pads. These kits bolt directly to the front spindle of any model C5 or C6 from 1997-2013, without the need for additional brackets or adapters.
Wilwood’s HD 48 Curved Vane Spec-37 rotors are are manufactured from a proprietary iron alloy developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking, and wear. The formulation for this alloy is a derivative of technology and materials that were significant in the development of the extreme duty military spec rotors that are manufactured by Wilwood. Every Spec 37 rotor is precision machined to less than .001″ run-out, flatness, and parallelism. Our HD Series preparation includes full detail machining and smooth pad contact faces without slots.
Wilwood’s 3.00″ Wheel Stud Kits contain 10 high strength alloy studs for standard Pro Street Hubs. Studs have a 12 point head, 1/2-20 thread and a black oxide coating for corrosion resistance.
Wilwood bearings are manufactured to the highest specifications. With the strictest tolerances to insure the highest performance and long life. Individual race (cup) and Bearing (cone) bearings are available for purchase separately.
Wilwood has packaged the popular Aluminum Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder with the Combination Proportioning Valve, mounting bracket, fluid tubes and mounting hardware in a kit. Wilwood’s Tandem Master Cylinder represents the latest in refinements in brake pressure actuation and fluid control. The slotted flange mounting and included rod assembly makes it a simple bolt on for Early Ford Mustang and fully is compatible with manual system applications. Mustang Tandem Master cylinders are available in two bores sizes, 7/8″or 15/16″, and three finishes, standard, ball burnished or black E-coat. The combination proportioning valve substantially simplifies wiring and brake proportioning adjustments on vehicles with custom brake systems. The combination block maintains full isolation between front and rear fluid circuits and is specifically designed to accompany the Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder. The combo valve and bracket are black E-coated for a performance look and long lasting durability. Stainless steel fluid tubes are precision bent with preinstalled stainless tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation between the Combination Proportioning Valve and the Wilwood Tandem Master Cylinder. Stainless steel button head fasteners thread into the bracket for a simple installation and years of durable, rust-free performance. Simply connect the fluid lines, bleed the system, and you’re finished.
