Wilwood two pound and ten pound residual pressure valves retain a minimum brake line pressure to help eliminate excessive pedal travel in both disc and drum brake systems. The two pound valve is used in disc brake applications where the master cylinder is mounted below the horizontal plane of the calipers and fluid drain back occurs from gravity and vibration, thereby causing excessive caliper piston retraction and a longer brake pedal stroke. The minimal two pound residual pressure prevents fluid from flowing back without causing the brakes to drag. With drum brakes, a ten pound valve is used to compensate for return spring tension and maintain wheel cylinder sealing in the drums. Residual Pressure Valves are made from billet aluminum and color coded for easy identification. Valves with fittings are supplied with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3/-24 inverted flare female fittings that will fit most domestic 3/16th hard brake lines.
Wilwood’s FSL6R 12.19” Late Model bracket mounts the Forged Superlite Radial Mount calipers to 3.50” center to center lug mount. Bracket mounting height has been modified to allow mounting FNSL6R calipers in applications that originally used 11.75” diameter rotors and allows use of larger 12.19” diameter rotors without modifying the existing brackets. Wilwood’s Remote Tandem Master Cylinder is available in 2 bore sizes 1.00” and 1-1/8”; and two finishes: ball burnished and black e-coat. The 1” bore can be used in manual and power assisted applications and does not come with a pushrod. The 1-1/8” bore is designed for use primarily with power brake applications, either from vacuum assist or hydraulic assist systems. They’re designed for mount flanges from 3.22” to 3.40”, common measurements for most domestic cars and trucks from the mid-1960s to present, and offer fluid outlet ports on both sides of the bore. The stroke is set at 1.12” with a volume ratio of 2:1 between the primary and secondary chambers. Machined from high-pressure die castings, each master cylinder weighs only 3lbs, a 75% weight savings over most cast iron OE type master cylinders. Wilwood’s Tru-Bar balance bar system is now available in a Reverse Swing mount pedal with a 6.25:1 ratio. Tru-Bar pedals utilize a fixed trunnion bearing in the pedal arm, with spherical rod-end bearing pushrod attachments. Forged Billet Hat Mount Hubs are made from premium grade alloy billets are forged into shape under high heat and pressure, then CNC machined for precise fit on each spindle application. Intended for use with used with aluminum mounting hats, CDP (Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth) Hat Mount hubs are double drilled with a 5 x 4.50″/5 x 4.75″ wheel lug pattern. Hubs include bearing races and screw-on aluminum caps.

High-Volume Master Cylinders have the highest fluid capacity of any integral reservoir design. With a total capacity of 8.2 ounces, there is at least 26% more fluid volume than other brands. . With 1-7/16″ of piston travel, it offers extra margin when used with large piston calipers. Heavy duty internal springs provide fast retraction. Formed steel lids with bellows type gaskets keep the moisture out. Wilwood master cylinders use common dimensions for flange or side mounting and a 1/8-27 NPT outlet port.
Wilwood’s HD Series Fixed Mount Rotor Hats have a long standing reputation for fit, performance, and durability. HD Series hats are manufactured from premium grade aluminum alloys offering high strength, low weight, and show quality appeal. HD hats have not only been a mainstay in many of Wilwood’s racing disc brake conversion kits, but they can cover a range of applications from an OE four lug axle shaft to a Grand-National stock car racing hub. HD hats feature a straight bell construction with a flanged rotor mount ring, Threaded-hole mounts for use with through hole rotors. When used with matching Wilwood rotor hardware, these hats provide solid mounting for a wide range of custom and competition disc brake applications.These features combine to provide maximum radial clearance between the caliper body and the hat.
