When it comes to rotors, racers are constantly searching for the ultimate balance between the lowest weight and the ability to effectively manage heat. Decreased rotating weight in the drive line provides quicker deceleration under braking and quicker acceleration out of the corners. Lower weight also benefits handling with improved spring and shock control over the unsprung suspension mass. Wilwood’s ULD-32 drilled iron rotors provides effective lightweight options for sprints, late models, modifieds, and other competition applications that race in low to medium temperature ranges.
Wilwood’s newest DynaPro DP6A Calipers combine pure-bred racing technology with contemporary design to deliver superior braking and high-tech style on a wide range of custom, show, and competition vehicles. This newest model in the DynaPro series features a reinforced triple bridge construction, with five high strength steel bridge bolts, making it the strongest and stiffest DP6 caliper ever built. Offers direct interchange with all 5.25″ pattern lug mount DynaPro and Dynalite calipers. With Forged aluminum, six piston differential bore body and stainless steel pistons with high temperature seals. DP6A calipers accommodate rotors up to 13″inch diameter and widths from .38″ to 1.10″. DP6A calipers are available in gloss black or red powder coat, or Wilwood’s Quick-Silver nickel base plating.
Wilwood’s new limited offset FDL Pro-Series Front Hub Kits for GM 1967-1969 F-Body and 1964-1974 A-Body vehicles offer disc brake upgrade solutions for both OEM Disc & Drum spindles. We have completely redesigned our Pro Series line of brake kits using a larger 11″ rotor and new forged aluminum hubs with the express purpose of maintaining the factory wheel position. This new kit widens the track by only +.19″ from original drum brake position or narrows by -.31″ from the original disc brake rotor assembly. Based on the venerable forged billet Dynalite caliper, these versatile kits are easily optioned to suit the braking requirements and style preferences for a daily driver, serious competition, or the most discriminating show enthusiast. Most vehicle applications require no modifications for installation, and provide plenty of clearance inside popular 15″ wheels. FDL Pro-Series kits can be used with either manual or power boost master cylinders. Kits come complete with calipers, rotors, hub assembly, brackets and hardware. Installation requires purchase of additional brake lines shown below.

The unsurpassed braking capacity of the Forged Narrow Superlite 6R six-piston caliper serves as the base of this group of 13″-14″ big rotor kits for these popular late model vehicles. FNSL6R kits are engineered application specific for simplified installation and full compatibility with OE master cylinder output and ABS functions where used. Big brake kits provide increased brake capacity and complimentary style with wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades on show cars and high performance street/track machines. Optional caliper finishes and rotor designs simplify personalizing the style and braking requirements of any application.
D8-4 calipers are a direct bolt-on replacement for the OE calipers on all 1965-82 Corvettes. Forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals put an end to the rust, bore pitting and seal failures that plague the OE caliper design. D8-4 calipers provide low-maintenance performance, a huge weight savings, and high temperature reliability for street or track. D8-4 calipers mount in the stock location over stock rotors, use the original style D8 brake pads, and fit snugly inside most ’67 or newer production wheels. Some wheels, including the 1965-66 OE “JK” code steel wheels and a few aftermarket replica alloy wheels, will require a 3/16″ or wider wheel spacer for clearance. Kits contain DOT compliant stainless braided brake lines and BP-10 compound “Smart Pads”
Wilwood’s Truck hats are precision machined from premium aluminum alloys for high strength and attention to minimized weight. Hats in this category feature threaded rotor mount holes for use with standard through-hole mount rotors. Truck Hats feature strengthening ribs on a flared bell configuration for big rotor brake kits on truck, SUV, and 4WD axles with either 6 or 8 lug configurations.
Wilwood’s HD 36 Curved Vane Spec-37 rotors are manufactured from a proprietary iron alloy developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking, and wear. The formulation for this alloy is a derivative of technology and materials that were significant in the development of the extreme duty military spec rotors that are manufactured by Wilwood. Every Spec 37 rotor is precision machined to less than .001″ run-out, flatness, and parallelism. Our HD Series preparation includes full detail machining and smooth pad contact faces without slots.
Wilwood two pound and ten pound residual pressure valves retain a minimum brake line pressure to help eliminate excessive pedal travel in both disc and drum brake systems. The two pound valve is used in disc brake applications where the master cylinder is mounted below the horizontal plane of the calipers and fluid drain back occurs from gravity and vibration, thereby causing excessive caliper piston retraction and a longer brake pedal stroke. The minimal two pound residual pressure prevents fluid from flowing back without causing the brakes to drag. With drum brakes, a ten pound valve is used to compensate for return spring tension and maintain wheel cylinder sealing in the drums. Residual Pressure Valves are made from billet aluminum and color coded for easy identification. Valves with fittings are supplied with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3/-24 inverted flare female fittings that will fit most domestic 3/16th hard brake lines.
This swinging mount pedal assembly combines the brake and clutch pedals in one unit with the master cylinders in a reverse position inside the firewall. It features a lightweight aluminum frame, with high strength reinforced I-Beam style forged 5.1:1 ratio pedal arms. The non-skid waffled pedal pads can be laterally adjusted for driver preference or clearance as necessary. The balance bar incorporates a positive detent stop every full turn to maintain adjustment position and driver awareness. A pin and clevis pushrod attachment system provides highest possible degree of misalignment angle for bind free operation through the entire range of travel. The balance bar can be locked in place with the included jam nut, or used with an optional remote cable for quick on-track adjustments. This pedal accepts any Wilwood vertical mount flange single outlet master cylinders that are ordered separately by style and bore size.
Wilwood’s 12 point Locking Nuts are engineered from a high strength alloy and plated for corrosion resistance. Flanged heads widen the bearing area for an accurate torque loading.
Wilwood’s Compact Combination Master Cylinders have been designed for limited space applications requiring the output capacity of a full size master cylinder. The ultra short 3.37″compact body provides 2.16″ of additional clearance between the mounting flange and the fluid outlet. A full 1.12″ of piston stroke meets or exceeds the stroke capacity of most full size cylinders. With 1/8″ NPT fluid outlet port located at the top radius of the cylinder bore, reduces the chances for trapped air. Enhanced fluid inlet port allows mounting of the standard reservoir included in kit and also contain 11/16-20 internal threads for custom reservoir arrangements. The black E-Coated aluminum body resists corrosion and maintains a durable long lasting finish.
