SLC56 front calipers are engineered as a high performance street and custom replacement for Corvettes and hot rods using Corvette suspension. SLC56 calipers add high-tech styling and provide the positive response and balanced pad loading provided by a fixed mount, four piston caliper. The SLC56 is a direct bolt-on replacement for the OE calipers on all models of the C5 from 1997 to 2004, and all base model C6’s from 2005 to 2013 using 12.8″ diameter front rotors. The calipers attach directly to the Corvette spindle without the need for brackets or adapters and accept all types of OE banjo bolt style brake hoses.
Wilwood’s new GS Compact Remote Master Cylinders are an all new rebuildable design featuring a high pressure die cast aluminum body with a protective e-coat finish. Remote cylinders feature a standard 7/16-20 threaded inlet. Internally, a refined return spring and piston assembly assures positive pressure control along with a quick and complete release.
Combination hydro-mechanical Parking Brake calipers use hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder for stopping power, and an internal mechanical lock within the caliper for a parking brake. CPB kits are built primarily for front wheel drive vehicles, and select rear wheel drive axles that are not well suited for internal shoe style parking brakes. The calipers are coupled with oversized two-piece rotor assemblies with aluminum hats and high friction BP-10 compound pads. CPB kits provide the correct balanced brake performance and matching style to compliment front big brake upgrade kits.

Wilwood’s Classic Series front disc brake kits for 1964 to 1974 GM A-body, X-body and 1967-69 F-body offer disc brake upgrade solutions for OEM Drum & Disc brake spindles. These kits feature the FDL-M four piston forged aluminum caliper and 11.00″ diameter x 1.00″ thick one-piece rotors. This new kit widens the track by only +.47″ from original drum brake position or narrows by -.03″ from the original disc brake rotor assembly. The FDL-M caliper is a modified version of the time-tested Forged Dynalite caliper, and provides the greatest amount of wheel clearance of any four piston caliper in its size class. The OEM style one-piece cast iron rotors with integrated hubs simplify installation while providing superb dimensional stability and wear resistance. These versatile kits are easily optioned to suit the braking requirements and style preferences for a daily driver or the most discriminating show enthusiast. Intended vehicle applications require no modifications for installation, and clear most 14″ OEM wheels. The Superlite caliper series is the benchmark in short track, late model, modified and open wheel competition. It also enjoys prominence in a variety of road-race, off-road, rally and sport driving applications. The new FSLI model series is the latest innovation to this Superlite family of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes, along with any potential problems that could arise from a damaged tube. The transfer tube has been replaced with two additional bleed screw assemblies which allows this group of symmetrical piston bore models to be mounted either right or left in a leading or trailing position.

Forged billet Dynalite four piston calipers, 12.19″ one-piece drum/rotors, and high friction pads provide optimized and balanced braking for all types of custom performance street/strip and show machines. The neatly hidden internal shoe system provides a clean installation with superior static holding power for parking. Optional caliper finishes and rotor designs enable the builder to personalize the style and optimize brake performance for every individual application.
D8-4 calipers are a direct bolt-on replacement for the OE calipers on all 1965-82 Corvettes. Forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals put an end to the rust, bore pitting and seal failures that plague the OE caliper design. D8-4 calipers provide low-maintenance performance, a huge weight savings, and high temperature reliability for street or track. D8-4 calipers mount in the stock location over stock rotors, use the original style D8 brake pads, and fit snugly inside most ’67 or newer production wheels. Some wheels, including the 1965-66 OE “JK” code steel wheels and a few aftermarket replica alloy wheels, will require a 3/16″ or wider wheel spacer for clearance. Kits contain DOT compliant stainless braided brake lines and BP-10 compound “Smart Pads”
For custom, show and high performance sport driving, SRP rotors offer the high tech look and improved performance of a directional cross-drill and face slot pattern. In addition to the aesthetic appeal, the venting and cleaning action of the hole and slot pattern helps to reduce pad glaze and minimize irregular pad build-up on the rotor faces. The results are a smoother engagement feel at the pedal and consistent response from the pads. Each rotor is precision machined to less than .001 tolerance for overall flatness, parallelism, and radial run-out on long grain carbon iron castings. The rotors are finished with a black electro coat to provide corrosion resistance.
