Wilwood’s Compact Combination Master Cylinders have been designed for limited space applications requiring the output capacity of a full size master cylinder. The ultra short 3.37”compact body provides 2.16” of additional clearance between the mounting flange and the fluid outlet. A full 1.12” of piston stroke meets or exceeds the stroke capacity of most full size cylinders. With 1/8” NPT fluid outlet port located at the top radius of the cylinder bore, reduces the chances for trapped air. Enhanced fluid inlet port allows mounting of the standard reservoir included in kit and also contain 11/16-20 internal threads for custom reservoir arrangements. The black E-Coated aluminum body resists corrosion and maintains a durable long lasting finish.
Wilwood’s Classic Series front disc brake kits for Buick vehicles 1957 to 1960 Cadillac, offer disc brake upgrade solutions for OEM Drum spindles. Based on the venerable forged billet Dynalite caliper, these versatile kits are easily optioned to suit the braking requirements and style preferences for a daily driver or the most discriminating show enthusiast. Intended vehicle applications require no modifications for installation, and provide plenty of clearance inside popular 15″ wheels. FDL 1 piece kits can be used with either manual or power boost master cylinders. Kits are complete with calipers, rotors and, hub assembly brackets, hardware and brake line kit
Radial mounting provides secure and accurate installation of the forged billet DynaPro four piston caliper with large diameter rotors for this group of front and all wheel drive sport compacts. These kits are the perfect compliment to wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades on daily drivers, competition vehicles, and custom styled show machines. Each kit is engineered specific for each vehicle to maintain full compatibility with the OE master cylinder output and factory ABS functions. Optional caliper finishes and rotor designs provide choices that enable the builder to personalize the style and optimize brake performance.
Wilwood’s new GS Compact Integral Master Cylinders are an all new rebuildable design featuring a high pressure die cast aluminum body with a protective e-coat finish. Integral cylinders feature a positive seal internal bellows cap. Internally, a refined return spring and piston assembly assures positive pressure control along with a quick and complete release.
FNSL6R-DS Billet Forged six-piston calipers with 14” rotors deliver the ultimate combination for braking power and style in this group of kits engineered for traditional non-ABS spindles on American muscle cars and vintage rods. Built exclusively for 18” and larger wheels, FNSL6R-DS kits enhance tire and suspension upgrades on all types of custom show and high performance dual-purpose street and track machines. A full range of options for caliper finishes and rotor designs are guaranteed to catch the eye of the most discriminating enthusiast while providing optimized brake performance for every individual application.
For custom, show and high performance sport driving, SRP rotors offer the high tech look and improved performance of a directional cross-drill and face slot pattern. In addition to the aesthetic appeal, the venting and cleaning action of the hole and slot pattern helps to reduce pad glaze and minimize irregular pad build-up on the rotor faces. The results are a smoother engagement feel at the pedal and consistent response from the pads. Each rotor is precision machined to less than .001 tolerance for overall flatness, parallelism, and radial run-out on long grain carbon iron castings. The rotors are finished with a black electro coat to provide corrosion resistance.
The DynaPro Single (DPS) billet caliper is the newest generation of calipers available as an upgrade or replacement for applications previously using the Dynalite Single (DLS) series. DPS calipers combine superior strength with performance enhancements to make these the best “Dyna” series calipers ever.
Wilwood’s Tandem Aluminum Master Cylinder is available in 2 bore sizes 1.00″ and 1-1/8″; and 3 finishes, plain, ball burnished and black e-coat. 7/8″ bore master cylinders are designed primarily for manual applications and include a pushrod. The 1″ bore can be used in manual and power assisted applications and does not come with a pushrod. The 1-1/8″ bore is designed for use primarily with power brake applications, either from vacuum assist or hydraulic assist systems. They’re designed for mount flanges from 3.22″ to 3.40″, common measurements for most domestic cars and trucks from the mid 1960s to present, and offer fluid outlet ports on both sides of the bore. The stroke is set at 1.10″ with a volume ratio of 2:1 between the primary and secondary chambers. Machined from high-pressure die castings, each master cylinder weighs only 3lbs, a 75% weight savings over most cast iron OE type master cylinders. We also offer a our combination proportioning valve kit, which includes brackets and stainless lines specifically for use with these master cylinders, see PN 260-13190, or 220-13189 for retrofit kit.
SRP Drilled Performance Rotors feature a specially engineered directional cross drill and face slot pattern that improve brake response and pad performance throughout the entire range of light to heavy braking. The venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots will reduce pad glaze and disperse gasses and heat generated during the pad to rotor interface. The holes and slots also inhibit irregular pad compound build-up on the rotor faces resulting in smoother engagement and improved pedal response in all conditions. The material removed also contributes to lower rotating and unsprung suspension weight.
The enhanced brake capacity and pad performance of the DynaPro 6 forged billet six-piston caliper is combined with 12.19″ diameter rotors for this group of front wheel drive sport compact kits. These kits are the perfect compliment to wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades on daily drivers, competition vehicles, and custom styled show machines. Each kit is engineered vehicle specific to maintain full compatibility with the OE master cylinder output and factory ABS functions. Optional caliper finishes and rotor designs enable the builder to personalize the style and optimize brake performance for every individual application.
Wilwood’s Lug Mount Front Bracket kits mounts Lug mount calipers with 5.25” center to center mount used in various Wilwood calipers. Mounts are application (vehicle) specific and contain 3/8-24 clinch nuts for caliper mounting. Engineered from high strength aluminum alloy.
DPC56 rear caliper, pad, and rotor kits are engineered as high performance street and custom show replacements for Corvettes and hot rods using Corvette suspension. These kits combine the high-tech styling and superior performance of the DPC56 calipers, 12.00″ diameter SRP series drilled and slotted e-coat rotors, and the positive response, long wear, high fade resistance, and easy clean properties of the BP-10 compound Smart Pads. These kits bolt directly to the rear spindle of any model C5 or C6 from 1997-2013, without the need for additional brackets or adapters.
Wilwood’s MC4 Mechanical Parking Brake Caliper is a multi-use, cable operated brake caliper that combines high output performance with simplicity in design and construction, and is the perfect solution for vehicle applications requiring a separate, mechanically actuated parking brake caliper. Built to accept rotors that are .810″ thick, with 11.00″ – 12.88″ diameter range, the MC4 combines an efficient die cast body with a forged billet anvil for superior strength under load, yet is lightweight at only 3.30 (2.95 without pads) pounds. Supplied with each caliper are our Composite Metallic (CM) high-friction, high static-hold brake pads, and are pre-fitted with noise cancelling shields.
